Xenia Ruiz is a Policy Associate and Project Coordinator at the Center for Medicare Advocacy in Washington, DC. Prior to joining the Center in 2010, Ms. Ruiz served on various political campaigns in the Tampa Bay area. In addition, she has worked on issues affecting the LGBT community in Florida. She received her B.A. in Political Science from the University of South Florida.

The Center for Medicare Advocacy offers six measures to protect Medicare as we know it and reduce costs at the same time. They are so reasonable, and so obvious, that they probably won’t stand a chance with Congress. We thought we’d pass them along nevertheless.
