David Dow ddow@uh.edu
David R. Dow is the Cullen Professor at the University of Houston Law Center and the Rorschach Visiting Professor of History at Rice University. He teaches and writes in the areas of constitutional law and history, contracts, and death penalty law. The founder of the Texas Innocence Network, Dow has represented more than one hundred death row inmates throughout their state and federal appeals. His most recent book, The Autobiography of an Execution, was a finalist for the National Book Critic Circles Award and the 2010 winner of the Barnes & Noble Discover award for nonfiction.
